Our name
The name IKARI or 錨 — the Japanese word for anchor—expresses our core principle: to serve as a still point in a world defined by complexity and change. Like an anchor set in shifting seas, we provide the strategic grounding from which great movements can begin.

The Myth of Icarus
Daedalus warns his son Icarus before their bold takeoff:
“Fly too low and the sea's dampness will clog the wings. Fly too high and the sun's heat will melt the wax.”
Equally, our name intends to evoke one of the most widely known stories of Western antiquity. For us, the myth of Icarus is not a warning against flight, it’s a lesson in perspective. Even the boldest flight requires grounding. But to soar you need the right framing to overcome what stops you from achieving your mission in the first place.
